ROMAY has been awarded by Siemens Mobility with the development and serial supply of the Door Entrance Area assemblies for S-BAHN Munich project.
The project covers the complete engineering, industrialization, and production of pre-assembled composite structures located in the passenger door zone. The parts are manufactured in an automated SMC (Sheet Moulding Compound) process, ensuring high dimensional accuracy, repeatability, and strength performance in accordance with EN 45545 fire protection standards.
To guarantee top-level surface quality and long-term durability, the components are finished on ROMAY’s fully robotic painting lines, which provide consistent coating thickness, texture, and color matching for each vehicle set.
